Create a Game and Meet Stan Lee
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
Stan Lee’s Kids Universe is teaming up with MakeGamesWithUs to ignite a game development competition for MONSTERS VS. KITTENS. MakeGamesWithUs specializes in teaching students how to build games for the IOS platform. Check out my interview Stan Lee & Terry Dougas, 1821 Comics.
More about the competition
The competition calls for parents and children across the country to create and submit their own MONSTERS VS. KITTENS game for the IOS platform. The winner receives a host of fun prizes from the comic legend and Stan Lee’s Kids Universe and will have their game published across the company’s various digital platforms. The winning game will be handpicked by Stan Lee’s Kids Universe executives. The contest falls in line with SLKU’s overall mission to advocate education and learning while having fun.
Full submission Instructions, Rules, regulations and deadlines for the competition are now available on: www.makegameswithus.com. MakeGamesWithUs is responsible for a number of successful games created by kids including: Name That Jam! A top 25 music and trivia game built by a brother and sister who are in high school and Cheese Miners: Lunar Supremacy, which was created by a 14 year old developer.
The Grand Prize winner of the MONSTERS VS. KITTENS game development competition receives the following goodies from Stan Lee’s Kids Universe:
•Meet and Greet Stan Lee
•A 2 day trip to LA
•A vintage comic book signed by Stan Lee
