18: Winter Park offers more than great skiing
Welcome to CNN iReport. Hi all, I'm Tibu Aguirre, reporting on my visit to the town of Winter Park, Colorado, USA.
Winter Park offers more than great skiing. On Sunday January 27, 2013, I was visiting the town of Winter Park, Colorado, -The Village at Winter Park Resort, located two miles from the downtown Winter Park and five miles from the town of Fraser.- I went to take a walk around this town, so I ride a lift, this trip was amazing and fun, I could take some photographs during the trip to the town of Winter Park.
If you dont know Winter Park Resort offers daily tours and snowshoe rentals. but If you are looking for a great cup of coffee, or would prefer to sit down and enjoy a full and filling breakfast, Winter Park has a breakfast place or coffee shop for you.
If you take a day off to come into town, be sure to check out favorite lunch spots. You will find some great bbq, burgers, hot dogs and bistros in the little bike and ski paradise known as Winter Park, Colorado. From up on ski hill at Winter Park Resort to downtown Winter Park and onto Fraser, there is a place to satisfy your mid-day munchies.
There are lots of places to go for dinner in Winter Park and the Fraser Valley. After a long day on the hill or hours on the bike trails, I recommend to visit this town for dinner. There are places for everyone from the kids for a quick bite to eat or a guys night out with several beers at the bar there is a Winter Park restaurant for you no matter winter, spring summer or fall.
When you go on vacation, visiting the town of Winter Park, Colorado, in addition to go skiing, you can spend time in restaurants, shops and cafes. Do not forget to visit this amazing place. If you are lucky you will see some elk or deer natives to the locality. I hadn't lucky that day, I didn't see any moose that day. So enjoy and relax while you remain in this location.
