    News from Bangladesh vol.3

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ruhelahmed told me, as to why he has gone to Dhaka, Bangladesh from his current home in Austin, Texas, 'I was born and raised in Bangladesh and actively participated in our War of Liberation as a Freedom Fighter guerrilla. I was wounded towards the end of the war and still carry the injuries in my body. The Shahbag Movement remains neutral and apolitical in characteristic, The protest continues and young citizens have vowed that they will continue to occupy the square till the last of war criminals are hanged. So far the the new generation protesters got some results and it seems that they are very determined to get what they want.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

The clip was taken on the 20th March.

The Bloggers and activist have some unique ways to demonstrate in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh newly named Projonmo Chottor (generation square).

They have kept up the momentum of the month long non stop protest by innovating different programs.

This footage is about releasing thousands of balloons carrying letters to heaven for the Shaheeds who lost life during the liberation war of 1971.

They want capital punishment to all the war criminals and banning the opposition political party Jamat-e-Islami and they have vouched not to  leave the Generation Square till the demands are fulfilled.
