I am from Venezuela.
I am so amazed how people can talk about chavez and dont have a clue of what have happen there, I use to be Vice-President of Technology of a government Bank, but I left because I saw how our country became isolated from the world, no opportunity for nothing, let me explain.
1.- What people dont understand is that in order to make a revolution, you need the poor people of your country, promise then heaven and give then food, and that is all that it takes for them to follow you.
2.- People dont realize that the flood of medical personal from Cuba to Venezuela, to help the poor... THERE ARE NOT Doctors!!! there is no MD degree in Cuba!!! instead of creating jobs for the real doctors in Vzla, there is a lot of doctors looking for work...
3.- How can you said that he helped the poor people, when there is not food in the super market shells!!! you can not even buy a whole chiken anymore!!! there is no milk to be found!!! for the Babies. There is about 50 people that die every day in Caracas, this is only the capital, can you imagine the whole country!! these is simple, people looking to survive! looking to rob other people to get money to buy food!!!
4.- There is no jobs, all the world investing community have left Venezuela, there is no industry for jobs!!! everything, I mean everything have to be imported.
5.- How can the same local industries had to flee to Colombia to run away from being seized by the government, like the "Harina Pan" the essential meal in venezuela, everything we eat we eat with Harina Pan, "La Arepa" you can find more harina Pan outside Venezuela than inside Venezuela...
6.- I love how tree years ago, the Bolivar got devalue by half, and a month ago, got devalue again by 46%, this literally places the bolivar worth 0% of his value 5 years ago, when everything have to be imported, what do you think is going to happen to vzla people... this automatically will create more poverty!!!! this is simple math. How in the world this equates to getting rid of poor people????? yes of course I understand now, he got rid of poor people by making them kill them selves!!! and starving to death!!!
7. It is easy to have presidents around South America follow him, when you give them money and Oil, anyone will be kissing your ass... simple, besides this is not his personal oil landfills to give away, for people be kissing his as*.
This is the real news!! the real truth, not all that crap you guys put up in your TV. Trying to make out of Chavez a saint!!! a martyr!!!????
