Deer Jerky Blood Wars
Local Issue with no national implication that I know of.
Locally there has been an escalating battle over Deer Jerky turf...Yep, you read that right. Welcome to Mississippi. To protect the innocent and to give the accused their fair date in court I shall assume the most vague names possible.
Here's where I stand on the issue. I know or am acquainted with many of those involved.
Fred Flintstone has been selling his home made Deer Jerky @ hmmm.....Uhh...The Bedrock feed store for at least 5 yrs. that I know of.
I've bought some from him many times....He's an older retired gentleman just trying to make a few bucks on the side...$5 a sack...
He offers I think 5 flavors...I always choose spicy...
Now with those coming from the northern part of the county with a lower population density trying to put him and his distributors (4 people with white vans) out of business it seems the violence seems to escalate by the day….Seriously.
Let's see.
We've had three people beat up so bad they could hardly speak.
Just two days ago we had a car drive into a person not in a car......A walking pedestrian.
What's most amazing is someone hasn't been killed yet.
On one hand I believe it is getting ridiculous...On the other hand I can't ignore it because of the escalating violence.
I'm actually idiotically thinking about getting into the middle of this craziness to become a mediator.
..To the locals....I'll be calling.

To those of you out there that are too smart for your own good....This is not about drugs...It's about Deer Jerky….Freshness, correct spices, meat cut and termination method makes a difference!….lol.
