    John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Duluth ,MN

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     HibMN says this was her first time attending the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota. The marathon is a 390 mile dog race along the North Shore, which started on March 10 and will run until Wednesday. Mushers from Canada to Tennessee are participating in the race. She says a highlight of the race was learning about its background. "They honored John Beargrease who delivered mail along the North Shore with his dog sled and his dogs 20 years 1879 to 1899," she said.
