Work and family: Making it work |
We both pitch in
But aside from that - we both work. I work 40 plus my photography gigs, he works 50+. Our 1st grader goes to after school care and summer camp while we work and we switch the care for her when she is sick, working together to see who is more flexible at the time. We all home together for dinner. He cooks - I clean. We all pitch in.
I feel like a part of an awesome team!
I wish I had more time with my child and didn't have to give her to daycare when she turned 6 weeks old - but we did what we had to do. It didn't make my daughter love us less. I think that we appreciate the time we have together more and we all thrive on achieving even more free time!
