This iReport is part of an assignment:
Work and family: Making it work

    Women in Sports

I was a senior executive with the NY Yankees and left my position to spend more time with my family. I remain in the sports industry and plan to go back to another situation like the 100 hour work week at the Yankees in two years.

The great news is Women have choices - more choices than men frankly. Our success depends on how we use those choices. My career has been spent in a man's world - I have never felt like being a woman has held me back - my career has taken twists and turns based on my family - how fortunate I have been to have those choices - in 2 years, my youngest will be off to college - I have the world at my fingertips to make any career choice I desire.
