    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Egyptian tour guide KhaledSamman find his job enables him to see parts of his home city, Cairo, that others may miss. Here, on an early Cairo morning, he captured a woman contemplating quietly in the city's Mohamed Ali Mosque as a beam of light catches her perfectly. "It was very quiet, a calm and peaceful moment," he said. "The whole mosque was like an oasis of time stopping." This image was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for April 24, 2013.

    As a tour guide, I have the chance to see some very unique moments, and this is one of them.
    It was taken at the early morning at Mohamed Ali's Mosque inside Saladin's Citadel Cairo, Egypt.
