THE COMMUNITY HAS SPOKEN WITH A 50% TURNOUT. THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL PRESIDENT WILL REMAIN IN OFFICE UNTIL THE NEXT ELECTION. A MAJORITY OF THE SENIOR POPULATION WAS BROUGHT OUT TO VOTE INCLUDING A FEW PEOPLE IN THEIR 90'S. THANKX TO EVERYONE FOR PARTICIPATING AND ESPECIALLY THE VOLUNTEERS THAT STAYED OVER 13 HOURS TO COUNT THE VOTES AND MAKE THIS ALL POSSIBLE, INCLUDING THE COUNTY CLERK, PEGGY WHITE.
