    Design of the day

    Unique Urban Bath

This is my second Manhattan apartment, both of which required gut renovations. I fell in love with this tile at Porcelanosa and knew for a couple years that I had to have a bathroom with walls clad floor to ceiling in these calm, clean, refreshing bubbles. No one I know has a bathroom like it and everyone that walks into it has a comment, usually asking how I used wallpaper in my shower. The tiles are uniquely shaped to interlock around the raised circles so that it is impossible to see any grout lines which is great for city living. The bathroom itself is very white and modern so I found this awesome print on etsy which brings in some color and alters the traditional saying on lemons. For me, this was especially poignant as my mother was fond of "making lemonade" and passed away just before I started this renovation - so whenever I see this print, it brings a smile to my face.
