    Salute to troops

    Husband comes home soon!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Stephanie Crosson, 24, stationed at Camp Pendleton in California, says she is eager for her husband Bryan Crosson to come home from Afghanistan. She says that day is about 10 days away and time is starting to drag. 'It's been hard, but I've dealt with it,' she said. 'It was really hard at first and I've been keeping myself busy. Now that he's about to come home it's getting really hard. Time has been going really slow.' This set of images includes a photo of them together in 2011 as well as pictures of her husband in Afghanistan over the past seven months. The final two images are of the couple's two dogs investigating some gear and personal effects that Bryan Crosson sent home about a month ago. 'I could not be more excited,' she writes. 'I have already gotten to the point that I can't sleep anymore. I can't wait for him to come home.'
    - nsaidi, CNN iReport producer

I would like to thank all of our men and women in uniform for everything that they do for our country. My husband, Marine Corps 1st Lt. Bryan Crosson, has now been in Afghanistan for 7 months. He is scheduled to return home at the end of March and I could not be more excited and proud of him. Bryan and his team have done so much good while in Afghanistan, but I cannot wait for him to be home. Our 2 dogs, Tosh and Bailey, are thrilled as well; they've really missed their dad (in the photos Bailey is looking through his dad's gear that was recently sent back home and Tosh is wearing a hat that his dad sent home for him). We are both from Maryland, but we have been stationed at Camp Pendleton in California for a year now. Here's hoping that he's home by Easter!
