Sunday, March 24, 2013 the Ebenezer AME Church in Stockton, California will host its 2nd mass wedding to underscore marriage between a man and a woman. The event is open to the public and is free for all male and female couples to renew their vows and those with a valid marriage certificate to get married that day for free. The event is fully decorated down to the flower girls and ring bearers. There is also a free reception that follows the ceremony. The theme of the event is "Healthy marriages bring healthy families, healthy families bring a healthy world. The marriages will be performed by Pastor Anthony Steele who has done this same event in the past for National Black Marriage Day in Wichita, Kansas and St. Louis, Missouri. Steele says, "Everyone is entitled to their belief about marriage. Our belief is that marriage is that real marriage is between a man and a woman."
