    Rescue committee set up to help victims of Meikhtilar unrest

    A rescue committee is set up in Mandalay today to help the victims of the unrest in Meikhtilar, middle Myanmar. The members of this committee are monks from Mandalay, some Islamic religious leaders, political parties, students, several Buddhists and Muslims. The committee will render help to the victims of the recent unrest regardless of their races and religion.
