    I heart my gay heroes in Mississippi

    I recently went on a reporting trip to Mississippi for CNN and I met the bravest people there - many of whom face considerable risk for being out of the closet in the Deep South. They're not political - just pushing for dignity and respect in their communities. I <3 that!
