Spruce Grove Dentist Dr. Ronald Haines of Evergreen Family Dentistry Introduces Mini Dental Implants for Affordable, Permanent Smiles

Dr. Ron Haines of Evergreen Family Dentistry in Spruce Grove, AB recently introduced mini dental implants to the services offered at his practice and is helping his patients get a healthy, functional smile at nearly half the cost with no invasive surgery. Prior to the availability of mini dental implants, patients with missing teeth had to rely on dentures or conventional implants to create a functional smile. Conventional implants require invasive surgery and require several weeks of recovery time. With mini dental implants, Dr. Haines’ patients can have a new, permanent smile in one office visit.

The mini dental implant procedure is completed using only local anesthetic. Small titanium anchors are inserted into the jawbone, after which porcelain or ceramic constructed teeth are attached to the anchors, filling the once void space with a tooth that looks completely natural. Patients receiving mini dental implants typically experience soreness for 2-3 days after the procedure, but are then free to eat whatever foods they like. When done by an experienced dentist, mini dental implants have a 95% success rate.

“We’re really excited to offer this new procedure to our patients—especially at such an affordable cost” said Dr. Ron Haines. “With mini implants, loose fitting dentures can become a thing of the past and our patients can really take a bit out of their next meal.”

Reviews of Dr. Ron Haines’ mini dental implant procedures have been outstanding. Patients report feeling little pain after the procedure and say they have a renewed confidence in their smile never experienced before. Many also report that digestive issues have diminished because of their ability to chew foods properly as opposed to having dentures or missing teeth.

In addition to mini dental implants, Dr. Ron Haines and his staff at Evergreen Family Dentistry also provide a variety of other dental service, including child-centered care, orthodontic treatment and emergency dental care. Dr. Ron Haines works alongside Dr. Mike Nichol at Evergreen Family Dentistry, who has been a member of the staff since 2005.

Dr. Ron Haines has been practicing dentistry in the Spruce Grove, AB area for 25 years. He completed his dental degree at the University of Alberta and served as a dental officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he also completed post graduate training in forensic dentistry. Dr. Haines is committed to continuing education in dentistry and also consults on forensic dental cases in the Alberta region.
