    Salute to troops

    Our Service to the Nation!!

Shout out to our two sons, PFC Romero Tony who decided to join the Army after graduation from MacArthur High School, Lawton, OK. In November 2012 he went to Ft. Jackson, S.C. for Basic Combat Training. After graduation he was send to Ft. Lee, V.A. for Advance Individual Training (AIT) as a Wheeled Mechanic. After completing AIT, he will be attending airborne school in Ft Benning, GA for 3 weeks. Upon completing jump school, PFC Romero will be assigned to Ft Bragg, NC.

PFC Romero Ricardo went to Oklahoma State University (OSU) where he studied for 2 years. He then decided to join the army as well. He started his Basic Combat Training in January at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, graduated in March 2013. He was also send to Ft Lee, V.A. to start his AIT as a Radar Repairer. Both brothers were happy to meet again in FT Lee. PFC Romero, Ricardo will be returning to Ft Sill, OK where he will complete his training in Radar Repair.

They both followed their Dad; MSG (Ret) Romero Andres in his footsteps. He retired from the Army after 21 years of service.

Our sons are making us very proud. Wishing you all the best in your future, no matter where you are, you will be missed and will always be in our hearts.
    We miss you both.

As a mother I have a small roll to serve our nation by being part of another winning team by working for the Department of Homeland Security with the Transportation Security Administration as a screener.

    Sincerely,

    Claudia Romero
