    South Indian Holi

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Indian iReporter and graphic designer ayashok captured these young children in the southern Indian city of Chennai enjoying -- and creating -- the riotous explosion of color that marks the Hindu festival of Holi. Millions of Hindus every year celebrate the festival, which heralds the beginning of spring and its abundant colors, and for participants provides the excuse to hurl brightly colored powder at each other. "Capturing a south Indian holi is always fun," he said. "Kids and people play with colors and they roam every street to make everyone colorful."
