President Obama Visits Denver for Gun Control Speech

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Aspiring photojournalist Jerry Morgan watched as 20 to 30 people protested against the recently passed Colorado gun control measures right as President Obama was pulling up to speak about gun control in Denver on Wednesday. This protest was half a mile from where the sheriffs were also protesting additional gun control measures, according to CNN affiliate KMGH.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Today President Barack Obama visited Denver, CO to speak on gun control. It had been reported that Obama wants to keep gun control fresh on everyone's mind. I did not have a chance to hear the President's rhetoric on gun control, but I had the chance to hear the voice of a few people. talking with Chris Lewis he stated that "It is obvious that they (The Government) are not fans of freedom" he believes that America was founded upon the principals of freedom, and when you force upon people gun control measures; it lets people know you do not like freedom. it was not a major turn out of protesters against Gun Control, but they definitely let their voices be heard as the President's motorcade drove by. There was not one cheer but the voice of the reporter heard among the crowd of protestors. It was a great experience to see a small protest first hand, but I must agree I prefer being on the unbiased side of the fence.
