This iReport is part of an assignment:
Many men have to "Lean in" too
Dibinga says he and his wife, Kendra, constantly balance each of their dreams with their desire to be present for their children. They make sure that when one is traveling, the other one is home with their two daughters, ages 4 and 6, picking them up from school, teaching them to read and taking them to activities. His wife is a project manager at Save the Children and a yoga instructor; he is pursuing his Ph.D at the University of Maryland and performs for schools across the country. 'It's not like we haven't had to have debates about time spent ... but when couples both have the same goal in mind -- to provide a better future for your kids as well as still be able to live your best life -- it makes those debates easier.'
Omekongo Dibinga is nominated for an iReport Award in Commentary. Go here to see all the finalists and vote for the Community Choice Award.
