    Flash Flood New Orleans

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     brigallo captured these photos of the flash flooding that began around 1am on April 14. She says the water has receded now, but at one point it had been at knee-level, as shown in this video. She says the weather is now sunny.

    April 13, 2013 New Orleans was hit with torrential rains. People In the Loyola/Tulane area north of St Charles Street woke up with 2 feet of water covering their streets. This area, Calhoun St and Palmer Ave, were hit extremely hard. Locals say this happens about once a year. Made for a slow starts to a relaxed Sunday AM
