As runners are stopped... The good of Boston shows up

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Freelance photographer 13photo was leaving the Red Sox game as he noticed runners stopped about a mile from the finish line. He said he saw spectators running into their homes to provide runners with blankets, jackets and water. He wanted to show the outpouring of support and the good deeds going on at such a heartwrenching moment. 'I am proud to be from Boston!' he said.

Read how people rushed to support spectators and visitors among the chaos on CNN.

If you have a positive story to share, please do. Our hearts are with Boston.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

I was stopped from continuing to the finish with several thousand runners. The next thing you know i became witness to the awesome of good, as spectators, businesses and peoples in their homes rushed out to take care of the runners.

You had people offering jackets, food, blankets ,anything
