Boston the day after the Marathon tragedy

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     vathsok described Boston as 'sad and silent' following the marathon bombings on Monday. These are HDR photos, processed and merged from three raw files.
    - katie, CNN iReport producer

We went out to downtown Boston the day after the tragedy, were sad and quiet. People brought flowers candles with all their respect to the victims. There were still police and armed guard almost every corner blocking people few blocks from the scene. We then walked on Boylston street to Arlington Street Church where people gathered to sing, pray and to share sorrow and joy. Later after the service people lighted up their candle, walked to Boston Garden and stood around the lagoon to pray for those affected
