Streets Flood in Park Ridge, IL

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MichaelRoman told me, 'When it rains a bit heavily, our entire street becomes a lake. The city of Park Ridge always puts it on the back burner because it only affects one strip of Park Ridge. The rest of the city is fine, as always. But we're trapped in the house because we only have regular cars, not trucks. We live on the north end of Park Ridge, IL. Across the street is a different city named Niles, IL.'

Truck drives though several inches of water in Park Ridge, IL. This is a regular occurrence in Park Ridge, IL and despite very high property taxes, they can't seem to fix the ongoing problem happening since circa 2007? City Hall staid there was a "5 per household sandbag limit" adding they were available for pick up. How could I drive though a river in a regular vehicle. "Sorry" was their answer.
