    Tel-Aviv Port Life

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Photographer and designer ygphoto spent a day in Tel Aviv's seafront area called The Port, capturing in beautiful black and white images both Israelis and tourists enjoying the spring sun. His images show people often in isolation, but not looking alone -- whether riding bikes, calling to friends or simply enjoying the views. "It is one of those unique places where you can find a rich guy with his BMW parked outside a cafe where he is having his afternoon cappuccino, a regular Joe walking by him while a homeless guy is sitting on the boardwalk just two meters away from that cafe" he said. "It's a place where people don't care who you are and what you do, they come there to have their little piece of sea, fresh air and good coffee or meal."

Tel-Aviv Port is one of the most lively and famous places to go to at Tel-Aviv, vibrant culture of people from all over the country come together at one place, walk, play, sit, and simply enjoy their time...

Endless choices of restaurants, cafes and stores, allow people to spend a full day at just one place and have it all, shopping, good food, sea and great air.

However, this year it seems that summer is simply decided to come later, and in mid April, when it is hot normally, still kind of cold and raining from time to time.

Yet, as i came to learn, it doesnt stop people from coming and enjoying a day off with their friends or family, disregarding the rain and high waves splashing onto the board-walk.

As always, the board-walk is very much alive!
