Tiny plant projects
Window Sill Gardening
Growing up I was surrounded by flowers and plants of all kinds. Even in the dead of winter , our kitchen especially was alive with blooming and green plants. My Father could take any small container from tin cans to a piece of broken pottery, to elaborate bulb rooting glass ware, bringing spring indoors any time of the year. As the snow fell in the winter, hyacinths rooted in colorful glass over the kitchen sink. Cuttings from all manner of plants nestled in the warm sunshine on the window sill.
Often when I visit home I still love to capture photos of the little garden inside, even if the outdoor gardens are in full bloom.
