    My challenge to the NRA.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Logan248 is a retired police officer in Saint Joseph, Michigan. His video in which he tears up his NRA membership card after the Newtown massacre is nominated for an iReport Award in Commentary. He recently received a renewal notice from the NRA and challenges the organization to a sit-down meeting where they discuss "ways in which we can stay within the boundaries of the second amendment, so that people do not lose their rights to possess firearms, and yet have some meaningful discussion on how we might make things safer for the public and for ourselves and our homes."

He believes gun limits are not the only solution to prevent more massacres, but there must be some restrictions on citizens' access to military-style weapons with large capacity magazines. "I don't see where anyone would need a semi-auto rifle with 30 rounds to go hunting deer. If I were hunting deer I could do so with a lever action .30 .30. If I want something for home protection I don't need a gun with that many bullets and that much power. My handgun will do just fine."

The question is, are you up to it?

If you need a gun with 30 rounds in the magazine then you must be a poor shot.
