5 Months after super typhoon Bopha (Pablo) hit southern Philippines

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Almost five months after Typhoon Botha devastated southern Philippines and killed more than 1,000 people, many are still living in temporary housing, photojournalist RitchieTongo found when he visited the area Thursday. "People there are getting used of living in tents and bunkhouses," he said. "Other families are already relocated in different areas, but a lot are still waiting for relocation sites from the government." Help has come from local authorities but some say not fast enough, while private charitable organisations have also stepped in, donating planting ground so families can grow food.
