    Veterans wait while Boston Strong

Since the return of the Viet nam and the endin of the Viet nam war the issue of injured members of civilian poulation is within most our members of baby boomers and younger. The backlog of the Veteran Affiars in resolving service connected injury cases is over 650,000 cases. The average amount of time to process a Veteran claim is 286 days. Some cases due do their complexity have been on hold for years. Veterans served their country. Though while they wait to be compensated society has its owe tradegies to deal with the most current horror the bombing at the boston marathon. My heart goes out to all the victims and the city residents of the Boston bombing tradegy. I though take note of the difference in the processing of disability claims between disalbed veterans applying for veteran disabilities and the victims of putting in claims of the boston marathon bombing. Within less than one month the boston fund has collected over 26 million dollars , has had victims submitted thier claim application and already on cnn it is reported that grat amounts of up to one million dolars have already been decided to be awarded to some victims. I find this to be amazing. I know so many veterans who are serverly injured from serving in the armed forces with claims in the system just waiting to be processed. We support our troops in waiting but we are serving Boston strong above service of troops. The victims of Boston deserve their just compensation in a diligent timely matter, the veteranscontinue to hold their heads up high in honor of country and paid scarfice of courage and pride and their compensation of pain and waiting in return. God Bless America, 50 states under one union.
