This iReport is part of an assignment:
Debate night in America |
That was a Debate?
I sat through that whole thing learning nothing new from either candidate! Here we are getting ready to go through the third recession/depression that seems to happen right around once every one hundred years and nothing was said to the public that was any different than the rederick they repeat on their stumps. History is repeating itself yet again and we don't need it to. The answers to getting out of every recession so far has been war, this time we don't need war to put our people back to work! We have enough to do right here at home to make money this time. I was hopping to hear that from at least one of the candidates, but it never came. Instead I heard Obama state he would consider cutting the energy projucts, is he insane? We need to change the energy situation and that is one way to provide jobs for American's. That is one sure way to keep us at war isn't it? I guess that is what they all want in the long run, war, fighting, death and chaos. PLEASE study your History! 1829 through 1840's and again 1929 through 1933, the first was when cotton market fell in the 1800's and the second was when the Drought hit the Great Planes killing the stock markets after the crops died in what is now called the "Dust Bowl." We can change parts of this merry-go-round for a better future.
