    Hello Nicholas,

First thank you for reaching out. I handle all the public relations around our sports partnerships. I wanted to send you information about Memphis Grizzlies House and their partnership with St. Jude.

The Memphis Grizzlies announced a partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® in April 2002. Under this partnership, the Grizzlies committed to several activities to build relationships between the team and children undergoing treatment at St. Jude. In September 2002, the Grizzlies extended the partnership by pledging $5 million toward construction of the $10 million Memphis Grizzlies House. Memphis Grizzlies House is located on the St. Jude campus and provides a comfortable environment for out-of-town patients and families who are undergoing treatment at St. Jude from one to seven days. No family is ever asked to may St. Jude for anything.

The Grizzlies also support St. Jude through our Hoops for St. Jude campaign, a partnership with NBA Cares that help raises money for lifesaving research that is being done at St. Jude. Marc Gasol and Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins are both ambassadors for the Hoops for St. Jude campaign.

Let me know if you need any more information or photos about the Memphis Grizzlies partnership with St. Jude. For more information about Hoops visit

    Best regards,
