CNN PRODUCER NOTE Filipino iReporter jericpena captured the long lines braving drizzling rain in Caloocan City, Metro Manila to vote in the country's "midterm" elections, in which thousands of local and national politicians are standing, from councillors to mayors and senators. The vote is seen as a test of President Benigno Aquino's political agenda and efforts to improve the nation's economy. "My sister, Roxanne, was a first-time voter [and] she was very excited and giddy about the whole experience," he said. "Our experience was fairly smooth and fast. I'm looking forward to knowing the results."
