And Michelle finds her wedding dress

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kimsplaceokc organized a volunteer effort in Shawnee, Oklahoma, after the Mustang resident saw posts on Facebook about how the area was not receiving as much attention and aid as the city of Moore. Shawnee was hit by a severe tornado on May 19, just a day before another devastating tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma. 'This community is devastated too and I knew if I wanted to help somewhere this would be the perfect place,' she said.

She and her husband drove out to the neighborhood of Steelman Estate in Shawnee and meet with residents in the area, many of them lost their homes and cars. With Yates Construction, kimsplaceokc set up a cleaning effort in the area for the Memorial Day weekend, and throughout the day they helped clean out people's lots and helped sift through debris on their property. While working on one of the lots, the volunteers found Shawnee resident Michelle Hoke's wedding dress.

The mother of two was stunned when she saw that the volunteers uncovered her dress. 'I am loving that they found it and I am going to repurpose it because you can't wear it after this. Maybe it can be the "something old" for my daughter's wedding dress one day,' she said.
