Yes, John McCain is old...but that is not the issue. The issue is that  his philosophy is old. He quotes old presidents and generals. He uses old language "follow Bin Laden to the gates of hell". He has old  strategies, using the female gender for her looks rather than her brains. He has old, racist issues, couldn't bring himself to look Sen. Obama in the eye and he barely shook his hand at the start of the first debate. 

John McCain lives in an old war movie, shoot 'em up if they aren't Americans. He is limited in his vision of our future so whether our age is old or young , we must have a sense of what the new world is all about. And it is not all about war. In the debate he said he would only fund the war and veterans affairs. Is this a vision for our future? What about eduation and children? Healthcare for the elderly? Assisting the poor and the hungry of our country? I can go on forever with needs other than warmaking.

So, I think we should buy him the game "Battleship" and let him play out his war games with his old ideas and the rest of us will move into the 21st century with hope.
