DC Metro Line Conductor Gets Creative For Safety And An Enjoyable Ride Home

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MichaelEsser is a regular rider of the DC metro transit system, otherwise known as the WMATA. He says on one such occassion he was inspired to capture a video of the train's conductor taking liberities to get a bit creative in the safety annoucements. He says listening to the conductor was enjoyable. 'I have heard a few different instances where the conductor has explained to the crowd the need to use multiple doors or taking extra care in explaining that the doors will be closing. As any DC Metro rider knows there is a level of explaining that needs to be done to tourists, commuters and sports fans alike as the size of the crowd grows during a rush hour,' he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

In Washington, D.C. some metro line conductors are getting creative with their announcements. While most patrons laugh at the creativity of such after work fun, it in reality serves as a attention grabbing way to enforce common curtsey, common sense, and safety into the rushing afternoon crowd.
