    Istanbul´s Stray Dogs in Danger

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     markpel was in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2010. He photograph the stray dogs he saw walking around the city. 'I don't see it as a problem, I like most of them,' he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

As part of Istanbul´s modernization push, the regime wants move its dogs off the streets.

Authorities say the dogs will be fed and cared for at the new "natural habit parks" situated on city outskirts but animal right activists are suspicious.

Many residents on Bosporus say in Istanbul street animals have been always a part of Turkish culture.

"Who doen´t love animals can´t love people."
