    Santa Monica College shooting photos

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Daniel Kraft was visiting a friend at the radio station KCRW on the Santa Monica College campus, when he and others in the studio were informed that there was a shooting on campus and that they were going into lockdown. They waited in the station's basement for two hours before the lockdown was lifted. During that time, he says he did not hear shooting, but he did hear helicopters flying overheard.

They were 'eventually evacuated by a SWAT team' and led outside where they saw police scattered around the campus. He and his friends turned a corner, near the college's library when they saw a body lying on the ground. The person on the sidewalk was dressed in black combat gear and was supine on the sidewalk. He believes that body on the ground to be the alleged shooter.

As a doctor with emergency room and military medical training, he says he immediately looked at the body and knew the individual lying on their back was probably deceased. He says there was possible blood on the sidewalk as well. 'The body was just lying on the corner. There were not police super close by,' he said.
