Holy Sheep Sh*t Batman! It's a Tropical Storm!

Okay. This is a new one for me. I have never had a tropical storm or hurricane just sneak up on me. But this one did. I am so caught up in all the government scandals and the threats they are to our individual liberties that I have not even been looking at weather.

I know it has been raining here in North Carolina all day. It has been a good, pretty much constant rain but with very little wind, no thunder or lightning either.

Little did I know it was from a freaking Tropical Storm. As of 2pm est the center of it is at 34.9 N 78.9 W which puts it just south of Fayetteville, North Carolina with top winds at 45mph. I guess all the strongest winds are south of the storm because I feel nothing.

Still, hello Hurricane Season. Thanks for the early surprise.
