Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sloppy Joe Arrives at San Diego Fair

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow visited the San Diego Fair on Sunday and sampled the latest creation from Chicken Charlie and his brother Tony, mainstays at California state fairs with new deep-fried inventions each year. Watch Morrow's husband's reaction as he bites into the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sloppy Joe. (Chicken Charlie is the man who approaches him as he's eating.)
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

Another interesting fried fair food from Chicken Charlies. Every  year I ring in the Summer by trying the food at the San Diego Fair. This year, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sloppy Joe.

Check out my video with Tony Boghosian from Chicken Charlies and then my husband Marty tries the delicious dish as Chicken Charlie chimes in.

The Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe is a taste conflict of sweet and savory that are not complimentary and don't register at the same time. You taste one, you taste the other and while both are good, the confusion in your mouth is weird and awesome! A must try.

Check out my other Fried food iReports from the Fair.
