    JLo's Fans

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MarieSager told me, 'The event was filled with accolades of admiration from her close friends, Jane Fonda, Keenen Ivory Wayans, rapper Pitbull, Gregory Nava, director of the movie "Selena" and her manager Benny Medina. These speakers all brought cheers from the crowd of fans for Jennifer Lopez. She was teary eyed when giving her speech and had to stop to gain composure when thanking all her fans for being there on her journey. '
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

The best part of any Hollywood event are the fans. Yesterday while waiting in line with over 300 fans to be allowed a space to witness JLo receiving a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I met Seher Unal from Germany. She was visiting Los Angeles with her friends from Vienna, Austria. We both agreed Jennifer Lopez translates a good spirit and humble human being in any language.
People had been gathering for a space to witness this event since 4am Thursday morning. The security gave us blue wrist bands for admittance.
As you can see the crowd of fans were tight and had to give up photo opts as there was no room to move. I "highly" recommend a higher stage so people can at least see the celebrities. Obviously it's impossible to see the uncovering of the Star, but it would be nice to see the speakers.
So the best shots were of the fans, which Jennifer thanked many times for their love and support.
Thank you for sharing your morning visiting with me Seher and hope to see you again on your next trip to Los Angeles.
