    Bailout outrage

    More from MikeHouston

    Stop even talking about bailout

Even talking about a bailout is creating more problems than it purports to solve, because everyone is staying frozen, trying to guess what our government will do next with the crisis that we are facing. I submit that it would be more prudent for our leaders to state unequivocally that they will not bail out anyone - as painful as that might be for some. We, The People have said so after all: We do NOT want a bailout! It is not that the proposed bailout bill was "imperfect", as claimed (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/29/marshall.economy/index.html) To wit: The bailout, in whatever form or shape, would ensure that firms that made terrible loans in the past will be kept afloat to continue making loans in the future! (At taxpayers expense, no less) This is not "imperfect". It is outright moronic, unethical, and ultimately unacceptable by The People.
