    Lou Dobbs' Independent Convention

Reflections of a 21st Century American Privateer

Many within the system view me as either a

scoundrel or “pirate”.   I think of

myself as an American Patriot.   There is

an old saying, “When you take the front of the line, expect to get some eggs

thrown at you”.  Oh well here it probably

    comes….

The almost overwhelming problem with our

government and system today is we have institutionalized corruption.   Interest group politics, hedge funds and a

miss-directed media are now running our country.   The closest thing to the people’s voice

being actually heard was this first negative vote by congress of the 770 billion

dollar bail out bill.   “Scare Tactics” have

become the system’s BWB (BAFFELING with BULL CRAP) methodology and now, thinly

veiled attempts to continue control a broken system.

         Wall Street needs a major

re-adjustment!  And, Main Street needs it as well. Most of the

“value being purported lost” was artificially created in the markets in the

first place by day traders and hedge funds. The fact that pension funds bought

into this artificial market is not a good enough reason to sustain it.   An

inquisition of sorts is what our system needs.

Most of the culprits that continue to cause and drive this financial

debacle have already salted away their bonuses and wind fall profits.  Accountability for where all that cash has

gone and getting some of it back is what the American Public should be and are

    beginning to clamor for.

    A “great American premise” is

each of us is capable of changing our world.

I could rave about some of my entrepreneurial concepts in areas of

undersea exploration and coastal resource management – but their goals pale in

comparison; to rallying public awareness and interest in what needs to be done

to reshape and define our American ethic and values

    Another word for change is

revolution.  America needs this today.   It need not be violent.  However, the major culprits’ heads,

metaphorically need to be “cut off”.

Some of their cronies can buy lesser punishments – by returning funds

they manipulated for their own personal gain. Media warnings about not

penalizing the “best and the brightest”, is BWB (Baffling with Bull Crap)!

Accountability has to be a KEY buzz word at

the end of this decade. The purpose of our central government is to provide a

sufficient national defense posture to protect our fundamental freedoms,

protecting our general welfare and in some instances, to redistribute general

excess income, to accomplish the first two premises.  The protection of vested interest groups –

because lobbyists have the ears of our lawmakers and enforcers must end.

         .

    Sincerely,
