    1953 Buick Special

    I started driving at 14 in Idaho in 1962. My first car was a 1953 Buick Special (not the actual car in this photo, which is from a Google search) that a friend gave me in 1968. I only had to buy a battery (a $12 purchase in those days) to get the car to be functional.
