What's this I hear about preachers from the pulpit endorsing politicians? Aren't they risking their tax exemption status? Well maybe the US government should pull them on the carpet and tax them. There must surely be a few bundles of cash floating around these churches, free cash at that. Afterall, it is tax payers money isn't it? Just think, if the government required these preachers to pay taxes on the money and property given to them...hmmm. The sum of the parts may equal total. I believe there just might be enough to help the communities get out of this financial mess. Let Wall Street bail out it's own and let the communities help their own. The government will endorse this I'm sure. Take from the greedy and give to the needy.
