    Prescott Mourns Its Finest

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     azchila took these photos of memorials outside Fire Station 7 in Prescott, Arizona, on July 1, the day after 19 firefighters from the station died fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire. She says she didn't know any of "the Hot Shots" personally, but she still feels 'great loss.' 'This is a very small community also known as "Everybody's Home Town,"' she says. 'We all have connections in one way or another to each other.' Read more on CNN.

Prescott is mourning the death of nineteen firefighters that lost their lives Sunday night battling the Yarnell Hill fire.

Flowers, flags and water bottles line the fence outside Station 7 where they all served as Granite Mountain Hot Shots and elite team of fire fighters. They were the best of the best! What makes it even more heart breaking is to see the mens vehicles parked behind the fence where they left them the morning they went to fight the fire.

This is such a devastating loss to our community and to the families they leave behind. They will be greatly missed.
