We are a group... more »Iran Student’s Committee of Iran
We are a group of students in Iran dedicated to bring the attention of foreign media to the situation in Iran. The Iranian regime implements severe censorship and internet limitations to prevent just this and since almost all foreign reporters have been kicked out of Iran, we see it as our duty to fill this gap as best we can by trying to contact and reach these reporters and give them the news on human rights violations like execution, torture in prison, the arrest of political, human rights and civil rights activists, suppressive measures like arrests on the streets because of ‘improper’ veiling and limitations on freedom of speech and other news. Our main goal is to let the world know that the people of Iran are fighting for democracy and freedom everyday and the opposition is alive and active. In line with this, we try to publish films and footage taken by our members and friends from protests and clashes between regime forces and the freedom loving people of Iran. Please help us publicize the situation in Iran. less »
