Talking to teens: Driving

For many teens, the driver’s license is a rite of passage. But for parents, it can be a huge burden.

If you’ve been through it, we invite you to share your experiences and tips. How did you teach your teen to drive? What did you do to keep them safe on the road? How did you cope once your teen got his/her license?

And, this one is directed at anyone who learned to drive with his or her parents: What was it like learning to drive with your folks? What did they do well, or what do you wish you’d done differently?

Share your stories and tips, along with a photo of you with your teen, and you could be featured in a story for CNN.

This is part of a series by CNN correspondent Kelly Wallace on talking to teens. Future topics will include helping teenagers live healthy lives and fostering honest conversations with your kids.
