Marijuana has been on a fast track towards legalization in the United States for the past 40 years, according to some advocacy groups. Although still a controversial topic, polls show that more than half the country approves of legalization of pot. Some states, like Georgia, are considering the legalization of medical marijuana.
As the attitude towards medical marijuana shift around the country, we want to know if you use cannabis to treat any aliments or illness. How does medical marijuana help you? How has it affected your life? Share your personal stories with CNN iReport.
For privacy reasons, we will accept anonymous submissions, but you're welcome to share a photo if you wish. We also invite stories from those who are opposed to medical and recreational use of pot.
And don't miss "Weed 2: Cannabis Madness: Dr. Sanjay Gupta Reports," at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Also, Dr. Gupta will be answering your questions on Reddit at noon ET Tuesday.
