Your World War II memorabilia

June 6 marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the amphibious invasion of the allied troops at Normandy that proved critical in World War II. In honor of the occasion, we’d like to hear your family stories of the war and see any memorabilia you might have saved.

Show us your photos, letters, diaries, postcards and other memorabilia from World War II and D-Day and tell us the story behind them. Who did your item belong to? How did you acquire it? Why is it important to you? If you have a living World War II veteran in your family, be sure to get their thoughts and memories about it too.
