Open Story: Your view of police brutality protests

(CNN) -- The fall-out from the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner at the hands of white police officers has gripped a nation.

On November 24 in Ferguson, Missouri, a grand jury announced it would not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the death of Brown, an unarmed black teen. A week later, a grand jury in New York decided not to prosecute police officer Daniel Pantaleo in Garner's death. Garner, an unarmed African-American man, died after the white police officer wrestled him to the ground with a chokehold.

In cities across the country, protesters have been staging sit-ins, die-ins and blockades in a growing movement against police brutality fueled by social media. Demonstrators are calling for change in how law enforcement deals with minorities, especially black men.

What's the response where you live?  If you have witnessed or participated in protests where you live, we invite you to share your story with CNN.

Likewise, if you have a personal essay or video commentary to share, this is the place. Some of the submissions may be part of CNN’s ongoing coverage.
